Additional Notes
07-04-2017:

Griffin: Hi there, I'm sorry to bother you. I'm a fan of this Hong Kong artist/singer Andy Hui. He covered & released this song back in 1992 on his album. Did you write this song with George Mcfarlane? I really hope to find the original of this song & the original performing/recording artist. Any additional info's about the song is welcome. Many thanks.

Music/Lyrics: Alan Glass/George Mc Farlane

The backing singers is singing: That's The Way That Love Should Feel ...

But it's not Dee Dee Bridgewater - That's The Way Love Should Feel
Written By Alan Glass, Preston Glass. 4:28.

Alan Glass:
Yes I co-wrote that song with George
I have the Alan Hui CD. I haven't spoken to George for a long while now.
The song was THAT'S THE WAY LOVE SHOULD FEEL

G: Hi Alan, thank you for your quick reply. Was it a demo? Or was it recorded by someone? I was hoping to find the original artist/song. I've tried and tried without much luck. That's why I decided to write you about this song 😅

A: I also have the original demo. The singer was Steve Brookstein who was the first winner of the UK X-Factor. He sang it all in English. 🙂

G: Oh wow, is there a way to download the demo legally itunes or 7digital or amazon etc? Or is it possible for you to share it? I assume I won't be able to find that demo on CD (even promo CD)! So did Steve singing demo for you way back, before he won the X-Factor? Cause Andy Hui's song was in 1992! The X factor was in 2004!

A: Yes he sang the demo way before, it was an old song. 🙂

G: Is there a way I can get that demo (legal download sites)? I'm really excited to hear the original! With a few friends from around the world (Hong Kong & China) we are trying to uncover all the cover songs in Hong Kong/Taiwan/China! We found quite some hard to find ones (without o.c./o.a. info's or wrong credits! Original songs from Japan/Korea/Malaysia/India/Europe/Mexico/Argentina/Brazil/US/Canada/Taiwan/China etc

A: It is not on any download sites, I just have the original demo. What is it that you want to do with the song. Do you have a website. 🙂

G: To have it in my collection! No i don't! My friend used to run a blog and now he's more active on facebook! He will let the followers to hear the cover and the original song using links from other people like youtube etc! If you say you don't want the whole song to be heard! I can tell him only to show 30secs or 60secs as preview or something!
