ReplyDelete@Shin-EI, thanks again for your imput. It’s a bit overwhelming (3 days: 10, 16, 28 emails). It is our hobby in finding the originals to the covers & trying to list them as a reference. Most one of our team have a full time job. I don’t like to feel obliged to get everything to be corrected after a day of hard work. You may can send the corrections. But I won’t be changing them every day. I will do once I have time. And please don’t send 5 times of the same corrections on all compilations including 田原俊彥 for example. I will search for it and change them all back to back. And many of the so called errors/mistakes were made by the Hong Kong record companies by using the Chinese translations, Chinese wordings or a mix of Chinese/Japanese. I believe even if the artists names or song titles weren’t 100% correct people will still be able to find the song themselves. So it serves the purpose as a reference. It is not our intension to list all covers of a song. Sometimes we will only list what that specific compilation provided. Sometimes we do include 1 or 2 more additionally. But in the end most of the covers of an original song should be on our blog when someone search for it, either with the original or with the cover. Also sometimes we included unconfirmed covers or originals. When it is verified (right or wrong) we will include or remove them accordingly. I hope you won’t get offended by this. I know you meant well. It took us (especially me) much time in searching, sourcing, collecting the info’s/CD’s. Listing those compilation already took many of my spare time to do so. To change those errors/mistakes will add up my work load. I hope for your understanding.
